As promised on my Instagram, I’ll be posting some unpublished photos from 2017 here, on my rusty and dusty blog, in the next few weeks. 2017 was so crazy, amazingly crazy, crazy busy and crazy fulfilling, and I hope 2018 will double everything last year brought me. The downside is though that with my schedule and everything I’m doing there’s no time for the blog, and not too much desire to be honest either. I have gotten to a point where static images with random text doesn’t quite translate what I want to communicate to you, to the world. I’ve slowly moved towards posting my most interesting images to Instagram, communicating to you directly via Instagram stories or Youtube (still working on that last one), but blogging has become too much of a passive story telling for me.
However, it seems like you want to see some of those photos that never ended up on my Instagram, so I thought I’d share them here. I’m saying some as what I’ll be publishing will still probably only be about 20% of all my shoots last year, as some of them were for jobs, tests, with other photographers. I’ll only be sharing what Daniel and I have taken on our trips as that’s what’s closest to my heart because we have such a similar creative direction and are always in synch. So yes, D&D is still strong and going!
The photos below were taken during our stay at the serene Villa Lena, an art hotel owned by friends of friends, and beautifully located in the heart of Tuscany. It was probably one of the most photogenic places we’d ever stayed at and we ended up with a lot of photos that look like they’re from the set of a Woody Allen or Wes Anderson movie. Really hope you enjoy them and stick around as there will be lots more coming in the next few weeks!
