New York, United States

Traveling takes up to 70% of my time at the moment. I’m exploring the world for about 2 months, then I come back home for a week or two for work, University starting this week and switch of suitcases. My blog, from what you know, is not only about pretty clothes and new trends, but about how fashion influences our way of living. I’ve always considered that in order to be fashionable it is not enough to dress up for an event or for a photo shooting, it means to have style and refinement present everywhere in your life. As a “travelling soul” I always look for advice on the internet, but all I usually find are crowded touristic places, which I never enjoy visiting. It’s really hard to find those cool places that local people or those who think the same way know about.

Having been in a situation like that, I’ve decided I should start sharing with you my traveling experience in a more detailed way. The first step is Hotel Review. When I search for a place to stay, I seek for personal opinion people share, because as good as the hotel may look (or cost), it isn’t necessarily like that in real life. My hotel reviews are going to be unusual for a blog. I’ve worked on the idea for a few weeks, and found the perfect way to present them to you.

The first hotel us had a wonderful experience with is Tribeca Grand Hotel. Below you can find a more detailed description of different aspects.

Waiting for your feedback!

"Tribeca: For those who have never been to New York, Tribeca is a neighbourhood in Lower Manhattan. In the past few years, it's been recognised as the "coolest" place to live in the city. Art, culture, parties, penthouses owned by such celebrities as Mariah Carey, random meetings with Kanye West on the street… that's something normal for Tribeca. The buildings aren't too tall, very cool looking in red, orange and brown. Moreover according to recent records, Tribeca has a very low crime level, which makes the area perfect for living. However, it's been a while since Tribeca won the title of the "most expensive area" from the Upper East Side, which makes it unaffordable to live in for so many people.""Rooms: Tribeca Grand Hotel offers 203 rooms that feature the perfect balance between retro and modern. Every room has free high speed internet, which to me, as a blogger, is crucial. I was suprirsed to open up the door one night, and discover the loud music coming from the restaurant, yet I couldn’t hear one noise from the room. During fashion weeks you don’t have much time to rest, so when you do have a few free hours to sleep, some sound-proof walls and doors are much appreciated. Another really useful thing was the big iMac, that made the editing process a lot easier."

"Service Tribeca: We were pleasantly surprised to find a warm welcoming gift at our arrival at the Tribeca Grand Hotel. The staff was really nice to us, took care of all the invites and mail we received, which is very important during fashion week, as very often hotels don't even bother to keep them. The food in the hotel is very nice, especially the blueberry pancakes are really delicious. There is also a free coffee machine on every floor, which was a big + because I needed 10 coffees a day during that period. "
