In the evening of the sixth day of Paris Fashion week, I wore this one of a kind red coat, which I had found in a vintage store in Paris. I am amazed by the texture and quality of this piece, and also by its simple but feminine silhouette.
The Charlotte Olympia wedges are one of my favorite new pairs of shoes… I guess you get to hear that a lot from me! I am sorry, but I must admit, I am a total shoe addict. This pair is very different from all the others I own, because of the very high platform. I usually wear heels, in my opinion they are a lot more sensual and feminine, but as you can see, it’s not always true. These C.O. are just magnificent, and by the way very comfortable (believe me, I wandered half of Paris in them!).
Valentin Yudashkin’s Fall Winter 2012-13 collection really impressed me, in comparison to all his previous ones. There were fewer crystals and extravagant dresses. I enjoyed the dark colors, masculine outfits, minimalist dresses and shoes!! Shoes were actually my favorite part. At some point they reminded me of the ones Lanvin presented for the Fall Winter 2011-2012 season (see them HERE), but maybe that is the reason I liked them so much.
At the end of the collection, some “crystal” dresses came into the picture, I decided to photograph only one of them, because even if they are not my style, they define Valentin Yudashkin.
This show made me remember one of my Fashion Week rules:
“Even if you have a seat, but it’s not front row, it’s better to chose standing”
At this show, I had the 3rd row, which would have been ok if I had been observing. That is why when I sat down (feelt really nice after an exhausting day) I heard “the call of duty” and moved into the perfect standing section. As a result, I have these pretty pictures now, here on my blog, all for you, my dear readers.
