Matthew Williamson slip dress / Giuseppe Zanotti shoes / Saint Lauren bag / Niyalana bracelet
After my “Summer Basics” post that you guys really liked, I thought it would be a good idea to do a “travelling basic” since it’s such a big part of my life and I know for sure a lot of people might actually find it useful. It might be something you’ve already thought of, or something you’ll say “emmm, this is too obvious”, but it’s definitely a piece of advice I want to give. I’ve always been a fan of slip dresses, but it was only recently when I met with the Matthew Williamson team that I realized they might be the easiest thing to pack and carry with you around the world. Well first of all the material is the type that doesn’t really need ironing if you pack it well (don’t fold it, but roll it), which is soooo important for me since some hotels don’t have irons, or if they do, it’s not a proper steaming one, so the process takes forever. Secondly, the simple but chic silhouette allows the dress to be worn both on its own or with a jacket, blazer, oversized shirt with a knot and many other ways.
Yes, so I guess you’ve already realized how in love I am with this little slip dress.
