Fashion week is going as planned, without any time to do ANYTHING, including have food or post on the blog. So I really hope you're keeping up with my adventures on Instagram. But today I'm back on the blog to share one of the super awesome things I've been working on this summer. This Autumn Winter season I'm the face of Cadenzza's new street style campaign which you'll find in the brand's stores around the world!
Freshly returned from our big family trip to Malta I haven't really had much time to adapt as I headed straight into work. The London weather isn't really inspiring much either so all I can do is look at the pictures from our vacation while waiting for my makeup and hair to be done.
When preparing for my trip to Cuba, I decided nothing would be better to wear than Alice Temperley’s S/S16 collection, which is actually inspired by Havana! So I filled my suitcase with a few colourful dresses, tops, and skirts, all with slits and an open chest. They worked quite perfectly with the heat and the surroundings, especially among the ruined mansion that now hosts the establishment that is the city’s La Guarida.
Autumn is around the corner yet Europe is so hot it feels like summer is still in full force. In this kind of weather there aren't too many outfit options. It's either little flowy dresses every single day, or crop tops and something baggy. I opted for the sporty version of the latter courtesy of 3.1. Phillip Lim.
As you ladies and gents know in July I headed to Paris for my first Haute Couture fashion week, and damn was it amazing! It's such a different experience to every other fashion week and that is why I wanted to VLOG my trip and give you a look into one of the most exclusive and beautiful fashion events of the year.
When your life is a constant movement like mine you start to look for comfort in all things. And when it also involves daily photos, hourly Snapchats or InstaSnaps, you sure as hell need good hair! But that can be very tricky especially on the go. Well, at least it used to be. Now that Toni & Guy has introduced the StyleFix collection nothing stops me from having GREAT HAIR all the time.
Probably one of the best stays I've ever had at a hotel. When you travel as much as I do (ok not so much this summer, which is a total anomaly) little things become so important in order to make you feel at least a little bit like home, make you feel comfortable not just physically but also spiritually. Well, the staff at the Knickerbocker definitely took care of that. Having arrived at the hotel a little too early the room wasn't available, which I knew would happen and was ready to leave the luggage in storage and come back later. However, the staff offered us a complimentary lunch as a "sorry" that the room wasn't ready yet. Of course it would have been rude to deny the invitation, but also totally inappropriate to let my stomach empty for long, so we went to enjoy ourselves. By the time we finished our second round of rose the room was ready and we had enjoyed one of the nicest meals during our trip to NYC.
A fringe and lighter hair colour really puts you in a position where you feel obligated to test Jane Birkin's style on yourself. Once the fringe grows a little more, you can also go for a more Brigitte Bardot thing just like I attempted a few days ago at the Revlon Ball in London. But back to Birkin's relaxed 70s style. It's actually one of the rare times, unlike Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and many others, when the style of a retro fashion icon is so easy to integrate into the life of a 21st century woman.
Beautiful memories from our stay in Mexico with El Dorado resort. The hotel was surrounded by jungles and empty beaches which is pretty much all I need for an amazing vacation, add delicious food and your mum and it turns into THE PERFECT getaway.
The past 2 months have had a crazy schedule: completing my dissertation, graduating from university, Cannes Film Festival, working on my US business visa, haute couture fashion week... Ah, so many wonderful things have happened! But so many things were happening that I never got to my pictures from Cuba, and you know me, I like showing you a nice final result, the right pictures, nice edits, and so on and so forth.
Some memories from my first ever trip to Mexico that I went on with my mum. I love that you can see the water villas of the hotel we were staying in, El Dorado Maroma, gives it a more Maldives look haha. Ah do I miss wearing no shoes and summer clothing, enjoying a coconut on the beach and taking a swim whenever I get too hot.
