I love precious moment Daniel and I get to spend on our own. It doesn’t happen that much, which might sound weird to someone since we’re together all the time… or at least most of it. Both he and I have trips on our own which we really dislike (one of my goals is to change that this year), but even when we’re in London, working side by side, we both get so carried away with our work that it’s actually not that easy to interact. So the moments we go out and enjoy a few hours of good food or good drinks are something I value very much.
One of those times happened at one of my favourite places in London, Cafe Royal. Its beautiful interior isn’t just worth using for your best editorials (if you remember our SPECTRE inspired shoot which you can see again HERE), but also make for quite a special afternoon tea experience, if the term of “afternoon tea” itself doesn’t sound fancy & special enough. Surrounded by golden walls and shiny mirrors, we were chatting next to the table where Oscar Wilde himself would dine daily back in the day. The Brut was making the chat a lot more interesting and amusing while indulging the delicious pastries and forgetting about extra calories. What else can you ask for!
